Obituary of Norma Jean Crane

CRANE, Norma Jean, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014. Preceded in death by husband, William Crane. Loving mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. Survived by son, Jack Crane (wife, Ellen) and daughter, Pam Boone (husband, George); nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Longtime member of the Merry Quilters, whose proceeds supported missions throughout the world. Committed pen pal to the housebound; always sending birthday wishes and words of encouragement. Her graciousness and generosity known by everyone who had the honor to know her. She was an example to all, and she will be remembered with love and gratitude and greatly missed. She will be honored at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. (at Magee) for a Viewing on Monday, March 24, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., and a Funeral Service on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Eastlawn Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated at Casa De La Luz Hospice.
