Obituary of Jane-Marie Manglona

Jane-Marie Manglona Born in Gouverneur, NY, Jane-Marie went home to be with God and her dearly departed family on February 27, 2014, at the age of 64, after her courageous battle of more than 20 years with chronic and acute pain from multiple debilitating conditions. Her great love for life is surpassed only by her love for God, love for her family and friends, and true empathy and compassion for the suffering of others. After a successful career as a cosmetologist, Jane-Marie graduated from the University of Houston - Clear Lake in 1997, earning her Bachelor's of Science degree with distinction in Psychology and was inducted as a member into the Psi Chi and Alpha Chi National Honor Societies. Jane-Marie is survived by her son, Sean-Paul; her husband, Efrain; her brothers, Peter, Daniel, and Scott Crawford; and her beloved cats, Aidan and Malachi. Heartfelt and deepest thanks to her brother Peter Crawford and dear friend Jody Anderson for their moral and spiritual support in these last critical years. Private celebrations of her life will be held in New York and Florida. Donations in her memory may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
