Obituary of Rudolfo V. Arriaga

ARRIAGA, Rodolfo V., Rudy, a gentle and kind man, went to be with the Lord January 24, 2014. A native of Tucson, served in the U.S. Marines Corps-Korean War Vet. Graduate of Tucson High School ('49) and the University of Arizona. Employed by the Tucson Fire Department and Sunnyside School Dist. Preceded in death by his parents, Roberto and Josefina; siblings, Robert, Leticia, Mercy, and Elena. He is survived by his wife, Brunilda; children: Carlos (Beverly) Arriaga, Celina (Ken) Gallagher, Ticha (Care) Arriaga; sister, Fina Kimmel. His greatest joy in life were his grandchildren: Erin (Miles) Johnson, Jessica Vaterlaus, Jennifer (Kevin) Miller, Thadeus Dodge, Amory, Elda, Chanda, Kristi Arriaga; and nine great-grandchildren. Services by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd., Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Visitation at 6:00 p.m. Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at Sts. Peter & Paul at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Holy Hope Cemetery.
