Obituary of Mary Temple Biester

Mary Temple Biester. Mary, 77, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on December 6, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, John Lee Biester. She enjoyed going to concerts, attending the theater, playing bridge, cooking, gardening, collecting and creating art, riding horses in Colorado, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Mary was born in Dallas, TX, and lived in MD, PA, AZ, and CO. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Worthington Biester and Shelly Biester Wright; grandchildren: Alexandra Biester, John Wright, and Benjamin Wright. In early spring of 2014, there will be a gathering in her honor at the Tucson Botanical Gardens to unveil a memorial bench. Gifts in her name can be sent to the Tucson Botanical Gardens at 2150 N.
