Obituary of John Robert Howe
John Robert Howe, July 19, 1937- November 16, 2013.
John was born in Bentonville Arkansas; he and his family moved to Tucson, Arizona, in 1950. John served in the Navy from 1954 to 1958 and is a Korean War Veteran. After he completed his tour of duty, John was employed by Trico Electric and Apache Drywall. He retired from Pima County as a building Inspector and spent his retirement enjoying time with his grandchildren, going to car races, and helping with the family business.
After a nine-month battle with lung cancer, God took him home. He was greeted by his loving wife, Anna (Branstetter) Howe, and his parents, Archie and Wanda Howe.
He spent the last five years of his life enjoying his days with his special friend Marie Cornelison.
He will be missed by his siblings, Gale Howe and Joanne Solie, as well as his children: John Howe Jr., Joye (Howe) Mallery, Leanna (Howe) Cento, Joseph Howe, and their families.
Services will be held Thursday, November 21, 2013, at 10:00 am at Adair Funeral Homes, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern, Tucson AZ.
