Obituary of Rosella Traver

Rosella "Posie" Traver, age 94, died peacefully November 6, 2013, in Tucson, surrounded by her three loving children. Married to Charles Traver in 1941, they enjoyed 69 years together, living in Ashtabula and Mentor, Ohio, and later retiring to Venice, Florida. Posie was a "people person"; her loving manner and beautiful smile could "light up a room." She liked everyone; but her greatest joys were her three children, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Posie enjoyed golf, card games, dancing and cheering for her favorite sports teams,ncluding the Arizona Wildcats, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the New England Patriots. Posie was a devout Catholic. She is survived by her daughter, Gayle Traver of Tucson; and two sons, Charles Traver (Pamela) of Atkinson, NH, and William Traver (Susan) of Glastonbury, CT; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
