Obituary of Ruby Ann Trebon

Ruby Ann Trebon, 86, of Tucson, AZ, passed away October 11, 2013. Ruby was born in Chelsea, Iowa, on Feb. 11, 1927, daughter of Roy and Tillie Ryan. She attended Coe College and the University of Iowa. In 1948, she married Al Trebon. She and Al were parents of nine children. They lived for their children, making sure they had college educations. The surviving children are Larry (Lynn) of Whitefish Bay, Wisc.; Thomas (Angela) of Tucson; Mary Liebertritt (Kevin) of Tucson; John (Christine) of Flagstaff; Patty Hauser (David) of Marshalltown, Iowa; Sandy Pevarvik (Matt) of Denver; Theresa of Aseville, NC; and Craig of Tucson. She is also survived by her husband Louis Howitz, 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren with 2 great-grandchildren on the way. She was preceded in death by a son Randy, who died at 2 months, one grandson (Scott), her sister Dorthea Bazyn. and her husband Al. Donations in Ruby's name can be made to the Beacon Foundation. A funeral Mass for Ruby will be held Monday, October 14, 2013, at 9:00am, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 5150 N. Valley View Rd., Tucson, AZ.
