Obituary of Bonnie S. Pritchard

Prichard, Bonnie S., passed away on September 1, 2013. Born Bonnie Jean Scheberle in Janesville, WI, daughter of Harry and Edith Scheberle, Bonnie grew up in Glen Ellyn, IL. She graduated from Glen Bard High School and later from Stephen's College in Columbia, MO. At age 27 she met and married Donald L. Fortunato. They were married 7 years and had one daughter, Suzann. Bonnie lived for many years in Palm Springs, CA, and then Prescott, AZ, eventually landing in Tucson, AZ. Bonnie later returned to Glen Ellyn for a class reunion and was reunited with fellow Glen Bard High student, Merrill E. "Boz" Prichard. The two were subsequently married and enjoyed 28 years of fun and travel, especially to their beloved Hawaii. Bonnie was an avid collector of teddy bears and Mickey Mouse memorabilia. She was preceded in death by her husband, "Boz," and is survived by her daughter, Suzann Fortunato Schlueter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona or Casa De Los Ninos; both located in Tucson, AZ. Celebration of Life to be held at Adair Funeral Homes, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave., Tucson, AZ, on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at 11:00 a.m.
