Obituary of Julie Marr Robinson

ROBINSON, Julie Marr, 77, died August 27, 2013, of pancreatic cancer, in Tucson, AZ. Born in Nebraska, she is the widow of Donald H. Robinson. Survivors include her children, Donald Robinson of Hudson, OH, Andrew Robinson of Tucson, AZ, and Tegan Robinson of Omaha, NE; three grandchildren, Brian, Olivia and Megan; and two brothers, L. Peter Marr of Beverly Hills, FL, and Charles Marr of Sedona, AZ. Julie Robinson attended Lindenwood College and was an honors graduate of the University of Nebraska, Omaha. She was a reporter for the Nebraska City News Press, The San Francisco Chronicle,and the New York World Telegram and Sun. She was a publicity agent for Columbia Pictures, New York; Women's Editor for the National Association of Manufacturers; and was Press Coordinator for Mrs. Richard M. Nixon in the White House from 1969 to 1972. A private family service was held In Tucson. Memorials can be sent to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.
