Obituary of Roland V Murphy MD

Roland V. Murphy M.D. 94, died on August 23, 2015. He was born in Toledo, OH on November 28, 1920 to Josiah and Hazel Murphy. Roland graduated from the Univ. of Cincinnati in 1945. He served in the military and was honorably discharged in 1948. He moved to Tucson and became a respected physician, specializing in Internal Medicine. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary and son, John. He is survived by his daughters, Maureen and Kathleen (Raymond); two grandsons, Jeremy and Brandon and his great-grandson, Gavin. Memorial service will be held Friday, September 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd.
